How we collect, use, protect and share personal data, in line with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012.

Clear Mile Technology and Services Inc. ("Clear Mile", "we", "us") operates the Finn platform and the clearmile.ph website. We are committed to protecting your personal data and handling it responsibly under Republic Act No. 10173, the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (the "DPA"), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and the issuances of the National Privacy Commission (NPC). We are registered with the NPC.
This policy explains how we handle personal data for visitors to our website and people who contact us or request a demo. Where we process employee personal data on behalf of a customer through the Finn platform, that customer is the personal information controller and we act as their personal information processor under a separate data processing agreement. In those cases, the customer's own privacy notice governs how that data is used, and requests about it should be directed to that customer's data protection officer.

We process personal data on the bases permitted by the DPA, including your consent, the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering into one, compliance with a legal obligation, and our legitimate interests in operating and promoting our business, balanced against your rights.
We do not sell personal data. We may share it with trusted service providers who help us operate, such as our cloud hosting providers (Amazon Web Services and DigitalOcean) and our customer relationship and communications tools, all bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations. We may also disclose personal data where required by law or lawful order, or to protect our rights, users or the public.
Finn is hosted on established cloud infrastructure with audited physical, network and operational controls. We maintain an information security management system certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022, and we apply encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access control, two-factor authentication for administrative accounts, audit logging of sensitive actions, and tested backup and recovery procedures. Some of our service providers may process data outside the Philippines; where they do, we take steps to ensure a comparable level of protection consistent with the DPA.
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described here or as required by law, after which it is securely disposed of under our documented retention and disposal procedures.
Under the DPA, you have the right to be informed, to object, to access, to rectification, to erasure or blocking, to damages, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.
