A rich API supports integration with a wide range of third-party systems, from global HR platforms to accounting software to project tools. Whatever surrounds Finn, the data flows instead of being re-encoded.
These are patterns our customers run today. Each one removes a re-encoding step that used to live in somebody's cutoff week.
Keep SuccessFactors as your global HR system of record while Finn handles Philippine timekeeping and payroll. Employee data syncs across, so a hire or movement entered once is reflected in both.
Payroll costs flow to Xero with every run, mapped to your chart of accounts. Finance closes the books from journals that already reconcile, not from a spreadsheet re-key of the register.
Run Workday as your global HCM while Finn handles Philippine timekeeping and payroll. Worker records, positions and cost centers sync across, so a change made once shows up in both.
These three are examples, not the whole list. Finn integrates with most other systems: if it has an API or accepts imports and exports, we can almost certainly connect it.
Every integration uses one of four methods, chosen to fit the system on the other end. Old or new, cloud or on-premise, there is a way in.
Where an off-the-shelf connector or integration platform already links the two systems, we use it. Fastest to stand up, and maintained by the platform rather than by custom code.
Finn talks directly to your other system's API, pushing and pulling data on a schedule or in response to events. Ideal when the other side has a well-documented interface.
Your systems talk to us instead. Our rich API lets other software read and write Finn data, from employee records to attendance, with keyed access that is fully logged.
For systems without an API, scheduled file exchanges do the job: structured imports and exports moved securely on a timetable, per run or per day. Unglamorous, and utterly reliable.
Whether it is your recruitment system, your expense claim tool, your finance system or something else entirely, the goal is the same: data entered once, everywhere it needs to be.
Accepted candidates flow from your ATS into Finn as new employee profiles, so onboarding starts from data that already exists instead of a re-keyed form.
Approved claims land in payroll as reimbursements on the next run, itemized on the payslip, with no manual instruction files passing between teams.
Payroll journals flow to your finance system per run, mapped to your chart of accounts, so books and payroll never drift apart.
Terminal logs sync into timekeeping automatically, keeping on-site capture exactly as your people know it.
Disbursement files are generated per payroll run in the format your bank expects, so payday is an upload, not a re-key.
Point your BI platform at the Finn API or scheduled exports, and workforce data lands in the dashboards leadership already uses.
Internal tools and legacy systems connect the same four ways. If you are not sure yours qualifies, ask us and we will map it out.
